Viva Engage (Yammer) App Reviews

I have seen other research departments use Google Hangouts. However, it is linked to my Gmail/YouTube account. Yammer is used in the Microsoft apps offered by the university, so it keeps professional items with professional entities.

Yammer is a worthy competitor to Chatter, I find no features missing. its unfortunate that I have a separate app I have to download.

The app is great too. Easy to use and timely notifications.

Ive been a Yammer user for awhile now and have watched it mature. It works great now. The subtle improvements really matter.

Great product

We instituted Yammer about two years ago and every single employee in our small business of 18 people has access to it. Sales, service, accounting, parts, etc. It has greatly increased our communication with each other as well as with our customers. It is private, we can share files and reports and are up to date minute by minute. We love it.

Makes team collaboration so easy

Stream is terrible; its hard to follow, requires all sorts of alerts to see whats going on in the community, and holds little convention with anything else on the market...typical MicroSoft--all downstream development.

App allows busy business folks to keep up with all the information.

Great interface. Nice experience. I like the navigation with the app and its responsive.

No issues with this version and iOS 10

I have an iPhone 6 s I downloaded the app excited to ease the login process off of my phone browser. However every time I try to login it says I dont have Internet connection :-( have no problem with login from browsers both on phone and home computer. Yammer app wont do it. Bummer. Also no help line to ask for assistance without paying a fee. My brother has an iPhone 5 and it works fine. The app is great only on certain phones.

This app works great and makes it easy to access feeds on the go.

We use Yammer at Capella University for collaboration, and it is a great way to connect our faculty and staff all across the country on topics like innovation, diversity, and mentoring.

2FA ADFS authentication doesnt work on Sprint since you lose your internet connection when you get a phone call on Sprint. The app isnt smart enough to reconnect after hanging up. Cant login - cant use.

I love the idea behind this app. Kroger is always taking things to the next level and its inspiring.

We are moving from NewsGator to Yammer as part of our conversion to Office 365. The fact that our Yammer feeds are all accessible remotely using smartphones and tablets greatly increases the participation in idea sharing and collaboration.
